Customising your store's design
13 Jul 2026 1 min read
Your store should look like your shop, not like a template. Everything below is point-and-click in your dashboard — no code anywhere.
The three levels of customisation
1. Theme & global styles — the fastest change. Pick a theme, set your brand colors and fonts once, and every page updates to match.
2. Homepage sections — control what appears on your homepage and in what order: banners, featured categories, best sellers, offers. Drag sections up or down; hide what you don't need.
3. Page builder — for full control, build custom pages by dragging blocks (text, images, product grids, buttons) exactly where you want them.
Header and footer
Your header (logo, menu, search, cart) and footer (links, contact info, policies) are edited separately under Dashboard → Header and Dashboard → Footer. Keep the menu short — five items or fewer. Every extra menu item splits your customer's attention.
Choosing colors that work
- Pick one main brand color; use it for buttons and highlights only
- Keep backgrounds light and text dark (or the reverse) — contrast sells
- If in doubt, look at your physical shop's signboard — that's your palette
Mobile first, always
Most of your customers will visit on a phone. After any design change, open your store on your own phone before calling it done. The dashboard preview helps, but the real thing is the truth.
